So much feeling and love have gone into this piece. It is the essence of my daughter and a tribute to my mother. I have tried to capture the innocence and joy that are experienced through the eyes of a child as she has planned for, saved, and finally as she anticipates giving a gift that she knows her mother will love. My mother has lived her life in a way that has made her a blessing to many. My tribute to my mother will be in living my life in a way that allows me to be a blessing to many also.
