I was introduced to gardens at a young age. My grandmother Jones could grow anything. Once her town even featured her in a newspaper article, describing how she planted by the cycles of the moon. Her gardens were full of iris and a variety of other lovely flowers. Irises, to this day, are my favorite flowers. I, like many adults, have fond memories of exploring our universe, looking at the wondrous details created for our pleasure, and of scouting for mushrooms and asparagus. The Gardener is a tribute to childhood wonder and the gifts given to us by a loving Heavenly Father.
