When I attended a sculpture show in Boulder one of the Groups of people that passed my booth included some daycare children clad in pajamas. Some of the P Js were fancy with ears and tails of various cuddly creatures. The children had been told to hold hands as they looked at the various artwork. I smiled at all their preschool antics and thought at that moment that I needed to do a sculpture of the scene. Titling the piece "Grade School Musical" gave me license to embellish their costumes.
